XYLOPHONE (4) is a six-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Burl D Mcbride stable. Finished off last campaign with a win at Fairgrounds (Dirt) 11 weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Can make an immediate impact. MALIBU SMART (3) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a third over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt). Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. WILDWOOD BYE (8) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when seventh over 6f at this track (Dirt) after she settled well back. Untried at this journey but strips fitter and looks the main danger. BOW DRAW (9) was prominent at the bend and finished second last start over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt), beaten 7 lengths. Will be rock-hard fit. Worth plenty of thought.
