CANAMBLE (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Taree, beaten 5 lengths into seventh. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. TREZZAMINA (9) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 5f at Goulburn, finishing second and beaten half a length after being prominent at the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. RUSSIAN ASSASSIN (3) filled a minor placing when fresh from a lay-off two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 2.75 lengths away in eighth over 5f at Hawkesbury. One of the chances based on his best recent efforts. ARTIEBETT (4) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Hawkesbury, beaten 2.25 lengths. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
