POND MASTER (5) found one marginally better when returning from a layoff last start over 6f at Bunbury after being prominent throughout. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. REPEATER (2) was well in commission last start over 6½f at this track when second, beaten 2.5 lengths. Can atone.
