DESERT EDGE (1) remains a maiden after eight runs. Had plenty of admirers last time and finishing a close second over 1m3f at this track. Chris Parnham has registered two minor placings when on board. Should be hard to stop. MILYEANNUP (6) was well fancied last time but could only manage third over 1m at Pinjarra. Should run well again. SHE'S RESOLUTE (8) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fifth at Belmont Park and beaten 2 lengths. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the main contenders. SHIVERINO (3) is fitter for two runs back from a lay-off, progressing nicely last time to finish fourth, beaten 2.75 lengths, at this track over 1m3f. Looks a definite top-three candidate.
