PITTSBURGH PIRATE (2) has scored at his last three starts, most recently by 2.25 lengths over 1m3f at Ararat. That continued the solid form this campaign, with three wins from eight outings. Leading player again. WILD IMAGINATION (1) produced a reasonable effort when third last start after being prominent at the bend over 1m at Murray Bridge, beaten 1.5 lengths. That followed a win at Morphettville Parks the start prior. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. CHOSEN VENTURE (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Bendigo, beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. DR DEE DEE (5) turned things around last start and got the job done by a neck over 1m2f at Bordertown. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
