HIGHLAND LAD (4) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to just miss when second over 1m at this track. Will be tough to hold out again. SEPTIMUS (6) is a three-start maiden who is well and truly overdue, finishing fourth at this track over 1m1 1/2f last time out. Nicely placed to find winning ways. FARRAIGE (3) had been racing well with two consecutive placings before last start managing only fifth over 1m1 1/2f at this track. Better than the last effort and is a winning chance. TORREY PINES (8) finished 8 lengths away in fifth at his last appearance over 1m at this track on August 14 after he was well back on straightening. No surprise if he figured in the finish.
