MOONLIGHT GAMBLER (1) finished second, beaten a head, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Kembla Grange after he was in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. COOL SPACE (3) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 5f at Gosford. Will be tough to hold out again. BLACKWIND (2) debuted a week-and-a-half ago when he finished fourth over 5½f at Hawkesbury, beaten 4 lengths. Worth following up.
