PALS BATTALION (1) beat a subsequent winner over course and distance earlier in the month. Up 5lb to a career-high mark. Shortlist nonetheless. CAFFU ZAFEEN (5) managed second in three of five starts for his previous stable. Gelded since joining new yard. Might be able to progress again. BEALE STREET (7) has won twice tackling track and trip in recent weeks. Not to be underestimated.
