RUSSLEY CROWN (1) wound up strongly last time out to finish a head adrift in second over 6f at Tamworth when returning from a lay-off. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Expected to be in the finish. SIXSPEED (3) turned in a modest performance when sixth last start over 6½f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at Muswellbrook. Going up a level this time but he cannot be underestimated. DANCES WITH HOOVES (4) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6½f at Rosehill, beaten 4.5 lengths. Strips fitter and can take care of this field. ANNULUS (5) did his best work late and finished second last time over 7½f at this track, beaten half a length. Will trim down following recent racing. Placed to advantage so expect another bold run.
