MOONLIT STAGE (5) finished runner-up to a progressive horse on his nursery debut at Wolverhampton (1m1 1/2f) in September. Trainer Ed Dunlop sends him on the long journey north and he looks to have every chance of going one spot better. The chief threat could come from recent Redcar winner FORCE OF HONOUR (4) who steps up to 1m2f for the first time under a 7lb penalty. After dead-heating for first GRETNA DREAMS (2) was awarded the race by stewards tackling 1m1 1/2f on handicap debut at Wolverhampton. The Simon Pearce trained filly could have more to offer. CORPUS JURIS (3) also merits each-way consideration.
