RUSSIAN SNITZEL (3) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish sixth, beaten 6 lengths, over 5f at Wyong. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. MR TRACKSIDE (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when seventh in a 5½f contest at Scone a week-and-a-half ago after being in contention on the turn. Meets some better types this time but a big run will not surprise. YUKAN ROSE (4) started at 15/8 last time on the back of a win at this track two starts ago but was below her best, finishing sixth over 4½f at Scone. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is right in contention. SPARKINGLY (10) fought on for second last start over 5f at Parkes, beaten 2.75 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
