CORPSMAN (9) resumed last start over 6f at Newcastle and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish third, beaten 2 lengths. Watch for another barnstorming finish. KNOW THYSELF (3) wasted no time getting off the mark as favourite on debut over 6f at Newcastle three weeks ago. Will come on following that run and looks tough to hold out again. LUCK APLENTY (13) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at Taree over 6f122yards. Hard to beat in this suitable race. NEVADA SMOKE (12) has been thereabouts recently, the latest result a fourth beaten 2.5 lengths at Taree over 1m. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but must be respected.
