SHADOW SHOT (6) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at Newcastle with a win over 1m2 1/2f at Tamworth a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by a head after being in contention on the bend. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. EVERY EFFORT (8) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle, beaten 2.75 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. REVELAIDE (7) has recorded two minor placings from three runs this campaign. 1.5 lengths from the winner in third at the latest outing over 1m2f at canberra. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. TINA'S ROCK (3) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1m3 1/2f at Newcastle, beaten 3 lengths, after a win at Wyong at the previous outing. In contention this time.
