CROWN OF OAKS (3) indicated promise when third in a late season Newmarket (Rowley) contest during October. The William Haggas trained colt may have improved plenty over the winter and can relish stepping up to 1m. Danger could come from NUTMEG (12) on the back of his pleasing runner-up effort on debut over 7f at Southwell. Will also appreciate going up in distance and likely benefit for experience. Well-bred newcomer BEAGLE BAY (2) would be interesting if attracting market support for powerful connections. MIGHTY BOY (11) and POINT OF CONTACT (13) are both entitled to be in the mix based on the promise they displayed last year.
3
Turned in a respectable run on debut back on July 19 when third over 7f at this track. Was then turned out for a decent lay-off. Great chance to get off the mark.
Gelding by New Bay at the races for the first time. Profiles well and looks set for a strong run.
3
Fought on well strongly but found a couple better at his only appearance at Newmarket (Rowley) over 7f back on October 5. Nicely placed to break through.
3
Debuted at Southwell All Weather three-and-a-half weeks ago and turned in a handy run when 1.3 lengths away in third over 7f. Should be in the finish.
Son of Sea The Moon from Lola Paige making his debut. Betting is the best pointer to his chances.
33
Returned from a lay-off with a sound third last start over 1m at Southwell All Weather. Strips fitter and is worth including.
27
Back for a second campaign. Finished a respectable second on debut then turned in a disappointing performance to finish seventh over 1m at Goodwood before going for a lay-off. Should come back bigger and better this prep.
2
Faced the starter for the first time last start and did a good job to finish second over 7f at Southwell All Weather. Should come on following that outing and looks set to break the maiden status.
34
Placed once in two career runs. Good effort last time when 4 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1m at Southwell All Weather. Going okay but others preferred.
2
Did a bit wrong on debut back on December 20 however still finished second over 1m1/2f at Wolverhampton. Deserves plenty of thought.
Colt by Sea The Moon out of Ghalyah on debut. Must be kept safe.
Son of Persian King from Udalla making his debut. Capable of a cheeky run.
