STRATIFIED (4) is yet to break through after six career starts. Managed to find the placings at Kembla Grange two starts back before finishing sixth over 4½f at Newcastle last start. This looks his chance to break through. FIRST NIGHT (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Newcastle, beaten 6 lengths into fifth after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. BYRON'S FARM (2) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing in the placings over 5f at Orange six-and-a-half months ago. Sharpened for this with a placing in a recent trial. Sure to be competitive. ADJA (10) could only manage to finish ninth, beaten 7 lengths, at his latest appearance over 4½f at Wellington after he gave away a big start. Finds the right race and is worth consideration.
