OSCAR CHARLIE (1) stuck on well last start to finish second over 5f at Mt Barker after showing good early speed. Has the ability to go one better. SNIPER'S SON (4) has been in the placings at his last two appearances, finishing second over 6f at Esperance most recently. Useful type who gets his chance. LO LO LONHRO (2) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when tenth over 6f at Bunbury. Should be peaking now and looks the main danger. ELSA'S PRIDE (6) turned in a fine effort to win by 1.2 lengths at this course and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Finds another suitable race and can do it again.
