HULU (7) was a new acquisition for the Cameron Crockett yard last start when she made steady ground to run into second over 6f87yards at this track at the first run back from a lay-off. Expected to run well again. EXTESSIVE (3) returns from a layoff of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6¼f at Taree. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. LADY SOAMES (2) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fifth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 6¼f at Taree. One of the main contenders. SILVER HALO (1) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Newcastle, beaten 5.5 lengths into tenth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
