TAKING THE MIKKI (1) stepped up in trip to 6¾f last time at Wyong and ran below his best, finishing 2.5 lengths away in fifth. Appeals back in trip this time so is expected to be in the finish. RUM DIARY (11) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Kembla Grange, beaten 5 lengths into seventh after being in contention on the corner. Has the ability to produce a better result. WHO EVER THOUGHT (8) started at 5/4 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 4.5 lengths at Quirindi over 6f. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SKY ARTIST (3) returns from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and did win when resuming last time in work over 5f at Nowra. Ran fifth in a trial at Warwick Farm over 3f212yards recently. Makes plenty of appeal.
