BERTIE (5) booted up from the inside draw to lead last start and was there until straightening when beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth over 1m at Wyong. Sure to take running down. TARRANT COUNTY (4) debuted two-and-a-half weeks ago when he finished fifth over 6½f at Scone, beaten 1.4 lengths. Should progress this time and is expected to feature. RATHORAN (6) progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 7f at Tamworth after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. JED (10) finished third at Dubbo two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m at Dubbo, finishing 5.5 lengths back in sixth. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
