TIPSY VIXEN (13) wasn't far away when resuming last start, finishing third over 6f at Morphettville after she was well back on straightening. Won at her only try over this journey. Capable of taking this out. THE MANSMAN (11) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. OUTTA COMPTON (1) showed little early dash last start but found the line strongly to get up for second, beaten 0.7 lengths, over this course and distance. Commendable record at this trip with a win and four minor placings and is expected to be competitive. TEXAN WINDSTORM (4) was in the firing line on the bend and finished third last time over 6f at Gawler when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 0.7 lengths. Ready to go a couple better.
