GURU WARRIOR (8) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 7½f at Gawler. Faces an easier assignment so he is all set to build on that latest effort. SAINT BOOM (14) started at 13/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths at Gawler over 7½f. Has the class to put the recent run behind her. TURNED LOOSE (13) last raced just a week-and-a-half ago when 12th over 7¾f at Mt Gambier. Well placed to turn things around. SON OF VADAMOS (6) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when a nose away in third over 1m at Balaklava. Well placed to figure prominently again.
