CHOSEN BLONDE (3) was always well out of her ground when 5.5 lengths from the winner in tenth over 4½f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than her seventh at Penola the run before. Jake Toeroek gets the best out of this six-year-old mare. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. DEVIL DAN (4) is returning from a lay-off of three months. Finished tenth at Kembla Grange over 6½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Danny Penna. Solid chance when resuming for the new barn. SHIKANIC (7) showed early speed from an outside draw last time and led for much of the way before weakening to finish ninth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 6f87yards at Muswellbrook. A bold showing expected again. MAGIC DELTA (8) produced another moderate effort last start when 6 lengths from the winner in seventh over 5¼f at Kingscote. Has her share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
