MANCHESTER (8) is racing well without being able to break through, the latest effort a second over 5f at this track (Turf) three weeks ago. Genuine performer so a big run is anticipated. WHISKEYINATEACUP (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 4½f at Los Alamitos Qh, beaten 2.75 lengths into fifth after being in contention on the corner. Meets a stronger field but he is capable of running a bold race. WALT WHITMAN (5) finished seventh over 7f at Tampa Bay Downs (Dirt) at his most recent appearance on March 8. Has switched to the Juan Carlos Gotera stable. Worth plenty of thought. MR BONES (4) showed good speed to stalk the pace before drawing clear to score by 1.5 lengths over 4½f here last time out. Winning rider J Stokes sticks. Deserves respect.
