CANADA CANDY (1) made progress last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1m at this track after being in contention on the bend. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. ICE FLOE (6) started at 5/2 last time but could only manage fourth, beaten 9 lengths, at this track over 5½f. L Negron has won when aboard in the past and gets the ride again. Among the leading chances. MYSTIC STORM (4) has put together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on November 20 over 6f when she got home by 1.3 lengths. Winning rider E Paucar retains the mount. Likely to be in the finish again. CANA GRIS (2) returns after a lay-off of four months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 6f at Fairgrounds. Has to be respected.
