ALABAMA SLAMMER (6) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish seventh over 7½f at Delaware Park (Turf) in a disappointing performance. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. SOUTHERN SENSE (4) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 5f at this track (Dirt) after being in contention all the way. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. JOSHY JAK (3) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at this track (Dirt) two starts back then scored by 5 lengths as public elect last time out over 5f at this track (Dirt). Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. ESTILO VARONIL (7) ran below expectations last time at this track (Dirt) over 5½f, finishing seventh and beaten 4 lengths. Can make amends.
