DEJOHN (4) got the prize two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 1m at this track, beaten 8 lengths. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough. MALPRACTICE MEUSER (3) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track (Dirt), finishing fourth and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 6f after being prominent at the corner. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. MIDNIGHT ALIBI (5) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1m at this track after being in contention on the corner. Worth noting Y Yaranga goes aboard. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. BONUS APPRECIATION (2) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 6f at this track (Dirt). Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time.
