ESCAPE VELOCITY (3) was sent out favourite last time and scored by 3 lengths over this trip at this track (Dirt). Has a solid record at this course and distance, including seven wins and seven placings. Can go on with it. DREWPOWER (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Lone Star Park, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. HARD ASTRAY (7) turned in a fine effort to win by 2.75 lengths at this track and distance last start which was an improvement on the when resuming run. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. SACRED RIDER (1) finished 3 lengths from the winner in fourth on turf at Delaware Park two starts back. Missed the frame in another run on turf last time at Colonial Downs over 1m1/2f when 3.5 lengths adrift in fifth. Worth another chance returning to the dirt.
