HAGLER (3) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 6f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. CALL ME GUSTO (2) turned in a modest performance when third last time out over 5½f at this track, beaten 6 lengths after being prominent at the bend. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. HPNOTIQ RHYTHM (9) started at 11/4 last time but could only manage sixth, beaten 24 lengths, at Belterra Park over 1m. Should be poised just off the lead. Will be in this for a long way. LAUTREC (6) went forward and gave a great sight when second over 1m at this track (Dirt) last time out. Has a win and six minor placings from 10 starts at this track and distance. Can figure in the outcome.
