ESCAPE VELOCITY (3) returns from a lay-off of 11 weeks and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished fourth at this track (Dirt) over 5½f when when resuming last time in work. Well-placed and sure to feature. LATIN SPICE (4) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 11 lengths, at this track (Dirt) over 6f. Has the ability to return to form. BLAME IT ON EDDIE (5) started at 11/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing ninth and beaten 17 lengths at this track (Turf) over 1m. Has a good record at this course and distance, including three wins. Finds a nice race and can make amends. STRIKE THE TOP (2) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m at this track. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
