MIZZEN (3) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 4½f at this track, beaten only one length after being in the firing line on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. PETTIGO GIRL (7) is back from a break of seven months. Closed last campaign with a narrow defeat over 1m at this track (Dirt). Now under the care of new trainer Jami C Poole. Rates highly and should take some beating. JILL BABE (2) was in contention on the bend and finished third last time over 5½f at this track (Dirt) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 15 lengths. Yet to miss the frame in six starts over this course and distance. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. GIRO KATE (4) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on December 12 finishing fourth and beaten 6 lengths over 6f at this track (Dirt). Makes plenty of appeal.
