SHE WITHIN (13) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 6f at Canterbury. Will need a good ride from Jeff Penza off the awkward draw. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. GRAECI (11) was quickly into stride from the rails draw last start but emptied late to finish eighth over 6f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. BEDDA MIA (9) started at big odds on debut last start when fifth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 5f at Canberra. Expected to feature with improvement to come. LIAMENA AVENUE (5) stepped out for his debut over 5½f at Hawkesbury back on June 25 and finished seventh, beaten 5.5 lengths. Better for that run and can improve sharply.
