CHIKY CHIKY MAMA (6) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 16 starts. Was again denied last start when she found one better over 4¾f at Cowra. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. RUSSIAN ASSASSIN (1) has been racing well without winning. Last start finished third, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 5f at Kembla Grange. Yet to break through at this trip but has registered three minor placings so he is expected to be in the finish. FOURTH SPARGO (2) is racing well including a last start second over 6f87yards at Muswellbrook. Has a win and two minor placings at this trip from three starts. Must be respected. XSPIRITOUS (8) looks to kick off this prep the way she ended the last five months ago when she scored over 5f at this track. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Capable of playing a big role.
