CHIMED (1) scored at Warrnambool last time out with a neck to spare over this journey. Has a sound record at this journey with one wins and three minor placings. Can go on with it. MULGA LIL (2) came from well back on the corner to score last time out over 1m1 1/4f at Avoca. All set to run well. HIS ZEDNESS (3) did well last time to finish fourth over 1m1f at Horsham. Yet to miss the placings at this trip. One of the better hopes. TAVISTOCK DANCER (4) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish fourth, beaten 2 lengths, last start over 1m1 3/4f at Yarra Valley. Can figure in the finish.
