INTELLECTUAL (1) was in control from the outset to score as favourite on debut over 5¼f at this track two weeks ago. Will come on following that run and looks tough to hold out again. ZOUTRAIL (7) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 5½f at Gawler, scoring by 0.7 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Nicely drawn and she looks sure to be in the mix. DAMPEN (2) returns from a lay-off of ten weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when tenth over 6f at Gawler. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
