Promising type who can open his career in the best possible way. FROTHY MACAW (11) faced the starter for the first time and finished fifth last start at Murray Bridge over 5½f, beaten 4 lengths. Likely improver who is worth another chance. GAZZ (1) went forward over 5¼f at Morphettville on debut last start but found one better. Should be prominent in the run again despite the awkward gate. Sure to be competitive. LYRA STAR (3) is a two-year-old gelding on debut from the stable of Stuart Padman. By Lucky Vega from Who Doubted Me. Proved too sharp in a recent Murray Bridge trial. Worth watching for a betting push.
