MERCHANT BOSS (4) finished third at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 7f144yards at this track, finishing 5 lengths back in seventh. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to turn things around. FAROOQ (1) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just a nose from the winner in second over 7f32yards at Naracoorte after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. HARLEY'N'ROSE (9) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage sixth over 7¾f at Morphettville Parks. Worth another chance. WHISKEY HANGOVER (6) didn't do a bad job when third last start over 7f32yards at Naracoorte. That followed a win at Mt Gambier the start prior. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
