SILVER CLIFF (6) raced on the speed and kept going to score by a head last time out over 5½f at Hamilton. Taking on a better field but she is worth serious consideration. CARARADA (7) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 22 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 5¼f at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason she cannot get the major prize. MISS REMSKI (5) did little and finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6f at Balaklava last start, a less impressive effort than her when resuming sixth at Naracoorte the run before. Meeting a deeper field this time but she deserves another chance. OUR SHINING STAR (2) turned things around last start and got the job done by a nose over 6f at Balaklava. Likely to be there at the finish again.
