SACHEM (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 24 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 7f at Murray Bridge, beaten 0.8 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. PRICILLA'S CHOICE (6) is close to breaking through with three placings from three starts this campaign, last time out finishing third over 7f at Murray Bridge. Key runner who should feature in the finish. POINTLESS PRAISE (3) finished 15 lengths adrift in tenth last time at Gawler in a disappointing performance. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SAINT MICHAEL (4) gave a great sight last time over 7½f at Gawler when he raced up on the pace and fought on gamely only to be narrowly beaten. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and three minor placings from seven starts. Not to be discounted.
