MIGHTY SAPPHIRE (2) did a great job to score by 1.3 lengths over this course and distance when resuming from a lay-off last time out. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. MOTOMAN (6) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside, scoring by a neck. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Drawn to enjoy a lovely run and he is one of the main chances. NOBLE MAGNATE (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Gawler, beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. IMAPAGETHREE GIRL (3) finished 6 lengths back in fifth over 5½f at Ballarat last time out after a gutsy win the start prior. Will find this tougher but is too good to overlook.
