GREY NORTHERN (7) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1m at Cranbourne. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. WINSTON (2) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish 0.7 lengths away in third over 7f155yards at Geelong. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. OUTCASTER (5) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 8 lengths away in fifth over 1m3f at Sale after being in the firing line on the corner. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. GHEMME (4) turned in a modest performance when third last time out over 1m2f at Seymour, beaten 3 lengths, after a win at Moe at the previous outing. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
