OBSTRUCTIONIST (4) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 6 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m2f at Cranbourne after being in contention on the turn. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. PIANTA (5) finished 3 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1m at Bairnsdale after being in contention on the bend a week-and-a-half ago. Steps up in distance. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Will play a major role. MORE TORQUE (3) is progressing well, last time out finishing second over 1m4f at this track. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. LONESTAR CHARLIE (2) finished 3.5 lengths away in fifth at his last appearance over 1m5f at Ballarat on October 17 after he got a long way back in the run. Should be about the money.
