CHINQUI (2) was less than a length from the winner in second at Cranbourne on debut before showing the benefit of that race experience when an impressive winner over 5f at Moe last start on a soft ground. Has plenty of upside and can measure up again. SON OF ZORRO (5) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at Ballarat over 5f, beaten 0.8 lengths. Cherry-ripe now. Commendable record at this trip with a win and three minor placings and is right in this. PIA MIA (15) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Bendigo, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Perfectly placed and is sure to make amends. FRIDGE MONSTER (3) got off the mark over 5f at Seymour last start, scoring by 2.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Brad Rawiller who was on board last start. Harder this time but still one to consider.
