BIRTHDAY SUIT (3) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner when when resuming last start over 5½f at Ararat. Will take a lot from that hitout. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. FAVANNA (4) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fourth at Flemington and beaten 3 lengths. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Sure to go well. ROYAL TELEPHONE (6) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Geelong. Less impressive last time out when eighth over 6f at Ballarat, beaten 9 lengths. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. CAPITOL QUEEN (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 6½f at Canberra. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role.
