BEURRE ROUGE (10) is a three-start maiden who could only manage to finish fourth at her latest appearance over 7f at Cranbourne. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. HIGHLAND MIRAGE (2) is a 12-start maiden who finished sixth at his most recent appearance over 1m1 1/4f at Kyneton. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. SIR PACKETS (9) faded last time to finish sixth over 6½f at Bendigo after showing good early speed. The addition of blinkers should see a bold run. MEXICAN FIDDLER (4) has been in the money five times including last start on April 29 when third over 7½f at this track. Has been in the frame at both appearances at this course. Among the fringe hopes.
