ASTROLITH (5) comes here fresh from an all-the-way win by a nose over this journey at Tamworth on May 21. Should measure up again. HAIKU STAR (8) raced in the leading division and kept going to score by one length when resuming last time out over 5f at Tamworth. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. MRS ED (12) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when seventh over 5f at Queanbeyan after she was in contention on the corner. Has never been out of the placings at the third run in and is among the leading chances. EIGHTY EIGHT STARS (11) bounced straight to the front from the rails draw and led until straightening before finishing sixth over 7f at Tamworth last time out. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
