DOWN LOW (2) scored a barnstorming win last start over 6f at Mornington, coming from the tail to get up by a long neck. Facing a tougher assignment but she is a leading contender again. APACHE SONG (5) ran below expectations when fresh from a lay-off at this track over 6f last time, finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. AMINATU (3) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has four placings from seven appearances this campaign, finishing 0.8 lengths away in second most recently over 5f at Bairnsdale. Must be included in calculations. THAILESS (7) finished second last time over 5½f at Ararat when resuming from a lay-off, beaten a head. Nicely placed to run well again.
