QUEEN TAKES KING (5) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m2f at Mortlake after being in the firing line on the turn. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. PRIVILEGED SON (2) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when seventh and beaten 6 lengths over 1m4 1/2f at Morphettville. Last run worth forgiving. Can atone. SOUTHERN STOCK (4) ran a better race last start when he worked home well to finish a close second over 2m at Gold Coast after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running a bold race. FARAG (1) hit the frame two starts ago at Hamilton but ran below par last time when 11th and beaten 8 lengths over 1m6f in The Long Black at Flemington. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
