GIANT JAMES (2) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. SEE THE TRUTH (9) finished second, beaten 0.1 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track (Dirt) after he was in the firing line on the corner. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. ISLAND SPIRIT (6) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 5½f at this track (Turf). Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. VESPARO (8) showed early speed from an outside draw last start and raced on the pace before boxing on well to finish third, beaten 3 lengths, over 1m1/2f at this track (Turf). Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.
