THE CARILLO (2) went forward last start over 5½f at Warrnambool and held on well for third, beaten 0.7 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. MRS ARCHIBALD (6) strode forward early from her wide draw to settle just off the lead last start then lifted to score by half a length at this track over 5½f. Among the top chances again. MR TICKLES (8) started at 7/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths at Ballarat Synthetic over 5f after being in contention on the turn. Facing a tougher assignment but he is capable of running a bold race. PRIVALOVA (11) is back from a lay-off of five months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 6f at Kilmore. Will strip fitter following a recent trial win. Worth plenty of thought.
