THE PEN IS MIGHTY (4) took advantage of the good draw and landed on the pace when resuming from a lay-off last start before tiring to finish fifth, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 7f134yards at Sale. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. KASTUN STAR (2) was out of the money when resuming but has since been on the money on two consecutive occasions, the latest when third over 1m at Echuca. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but should be in the finish. SHE THINKS AHEAD (10) booted up from the inside draw to sit on the speed last start then stuck on well to finish 0.8 lengths away in second over 1m at Wodonga. Going up a level this time but she deserves her chance. ILOVETHISTOWN (1) ran a better race when second up last time out, finishing fifth over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside. Ready to hit top form.
